Keep an Open Mind When Meeting People

It is good practice to keep an open mind when meeting people for the first time. You never know what kind of connection or opportunity will present itself. Therefore, make an effort to meet a variety of people on a regular basis.

Find opportunities to get in front of people whether it is by attending networking events, finding people on LinkedIn, or getting introductions from your network.  It can be fascinating meeting other people and learning about them. As you get to know people, you can find ways to help them and continue to develop your relationships.
