According to Hitwise, for the week ending March 13, Facebook overtook Google as the number one visited site in the U.S. Previously, Facebook took the top spot on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
The below graph shows Facebook's growth over the last year as compared to Google.
It is evident that Facebook is becoming more of a starting point on the web versus Google. It will be interesting to see if this rise lasts, which I believe it will. What do you think?
