According to Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, the site has 250 million users. In fact, Facebook added 50 million in about three months. Clearly, Facebook is one of the fastest growing social networks out there. What is amazing is that it doesn't seem to be slowing down.
In comparison, Twitter did twice as well as Facebook last month attracting unique visitors. However, Twitter still has less than 20% of Facebook's hits. Twitter is a very different tool than Facebook so the site shouldn't have to worry about anything. At the same time, it is interesting to see how fast Twitter is growing. It will be fun to see what is the next popular social networking tool.
