Think Like a Champion: An Informal Education In Business and Life
was written by Donald Trump who, as you probably know, is a very successful real estate developer and businessman. Trump is the Chairman and President of The Trump Organization and is the star and co-producer of the NBC series The Apprentice. In addition, Trump has written several other books and Think Like a Champion is his latest.
The book is broken up into 50 short essays about business and life topics. Here are a few of the essay topics:
- Barack Obama Election Users in a Different World
- The Shock Market
- Go Against the Tide
- Building Your Reputation
- Think Like a Genius
Think Like a Champion: An Informal Education In Business and Life
is such as nice change from most business books because each topic is very short (average of 2-3 pages). Each essay is independent from one another so when you need to take a break, you don’t have to stop in the middle of a long chapter. I found myself excited to read each essay because they were all different.
Much like Trump himself, this book is straight to the point with no extra fluff. Trump explores many common business themes and puts them into perspective for anyone to understand. Much of what Trump discusses is relevant to your personal life as well.
Another great aspect of this book is that Trump brings in his experience to explain many of his points. You will not only come away with some fresh perspectives, but also learn about Trump’s business and life. He shares with his readers the reasons why he has been successful for so many years.
Trump is a great motivator and someone who provides a lot of relevant advice in today’s business world. In the world of business, Trump has done more than most people will ever do in their lifetime so he is very qualified to share his expertise.
Think Like a Champion: An Informal Education In Business and Life
is the first Trump book that I have ever read. It was a pleasant surprise and a very easy to read book. In fact, it took me less than a week to read this book, which was a record for me. I recommend that you pick up a copy of this book.
