For the most part, relationship building is an intangible activity. Getting to know people doesn’t always translate into very tangible results (at least not right away). Over time, you should see results from all of your efforts.
Below are seven ways that you can measure the tangible results of networking:
1. You land a new client that can be traced back to your relationships
2. You find a new job that was the result of leveraging your network
3. You build a new partnership that was the result of a quality introduction
4. You develop a great new friendship by getting to know someone on a regular basis
5. You raise money for your business by leveraging your network to get in front of the right people
6. You help someone else land a client or find a job due to your quality referral
7. You generate more exposure for your business as a result of getting the word out to your network
What other results can you measure?

Hi Jason,
good tips.
The problem is though that not many people think about this and track back where a prospect, job, supplier etc came from.
Just doing this would help many people and organisations understand the power of networking and how to tap more into it.
Have a great networking day !
