This is a great tip. Thank you for sharing. I believe this idea relates back to the principle of Guanxi so popular among Chinese business people.

Jason Jacobsohn

Thanks for providing some insight into the background of my overall concept.

Alex Kay

I try to be a good citizen as much as possible - thanks for the tips Jason! Have a great day. Alex

Great comments. Too many people care about themselves only. Time we all shared.

Costs nothing to volunteer!

I like to impact the environment a bit by picking up one piece of trash and putting it in a garbage can when I'm at a park for a walk or even going through town on my way to the coffee shop. That's one less piece that I didn't put there.

Jason Jacobsohn

Thanks Maritin and Susan for providing some of your perspective and experience in being a good citizen.

Karen (Karooch from Scraps of Mind)

Some great relationship building techniques here, Jason. Thanks

Jason,

Thank you for this post. As someone who spends a lot of time on the Internet, growing a business, I'm always delighted to read a post like yours that reminds us to do good for others.

Never the Same River Twice

This is a great list, Jason. I really find it helpful to cultivate a spirit of generosity as a way of getting past a lot of the negatives and stresses of this time of year. Thanks for the reminders.

Jason Jacobsohn

Thanks for the recent comments. I am glad that you feel the same way as I do about cultivating a sense of giving to others. This should really carry forward throughout your every day life, not just during the holidays.
